LyndsWins
I'm new to modding and I'm trying to create a custom standalone level. In my area, the starting waypoint is completely black no matter what color I choose for it.When I play my level, the Player Character texture is all blacked out.Any creatures or objects I drag in are also black. How do I fix the textures on these? Please help! Thanks (in game photo is attached. I'll respond with the second image)

LadyHonor
It looks like you haven't added any lights.
LyndsWins
When I tried to create a ambient light and a static point light, I got the error in the log window:E: 15:44:23 - Failed to submit lightmap layout [trnt1]E: 15:44:23 - Job submission process failed with a return code of '-1073741515'. When it didn't find a lightmap, it yieled this:No lightmap atlases found. Using legacy non-atlased lightmap data instead. I also noticed that the level was not properly exporting to area when I did "Do All Local Posts", it threw this error:E: 15:48:56 - Local Posts Failed!S: 15:48:56 - Export Summary, 1 Requested, 0 Success, 0 Skipped, 1 Failed. Please see below for more details.E: 15:48:56 - TheRoadNotTaken20.lvl - Exporter FAILED for resource: TheRoadNotTaken20.lvl So I think there is something wrong with the level exporter. Do you know how to fix it?It works fine with "Post to Local"I: 15:51:21 - Exporter completed successfully for resource: TheRoadNotTaken20.lvl I tried putting my creatures and objects into two test layouts. One works perfectly, the other has the same issues (see images) Edited November 3, 2018 by LyndsWins

LyndsWins
An update on this, I've been looking extensively for answers on this and I think I found a lead. It says that the Toolset requires Active Python 2.5.4.4 in order to render lightmaps. Is this true? That version is pretty outdated now, but will a newer version work? What version do you have installed?
