Is it worth moving from Oldrim to SSE ?

So SkyUI and SKSE fully work for the SE?

They do. Definitely.

The only drawback are those "updates" by Bethesda to promote their "Creation Club", which always require a new version of SKSE and SOME (not all) mods depending on it. As was discussed above, you can simply "opt out" of this annoying procedure by either backing up your game files or setting Steam to only update the game when YOU want it to.

Okay, thanks for this update. I followed the progress about SKSE for SE for some time but lost interest at some point. So maybe I will switch to SE especially when mods like Skywind and Skyblivion will require it. At least the Skywind team already said that they have much more possibilities with the SE.

Oldrim has the advantage of having WAY more mods for it. A lot of the most popular ones have been getting ported to SE. As stated the biggest advantage that I have seen with SE is that it takes advantage of all the memory that it can take instead of being restricted. Currently running 291 mods, not counting visual upgrades, utilizing a single merged .esp and a bashed patch. Only problems that I have run into is when mods do not like each other and fight over who gets to do what and then one ends up shooting the Skyrim.exe and kills it. Other than that it has been smooth sailing with no random crashes.
