I have a much, much worse one than that. You know the whole unlocking shouts/dragon souls thing? Well. I spent the first month (maybe two) of owning and playing the game, not realising or noticing the "spend dragon soul" option in the shouts menu. Killing more and more dragons in increasing bewilderment as to why I wasn't unlocking any of the words of power I'd learned. Numpty that I am. I had the same problem. Would have been nice of Beth to mention that mechanic in the manual, or on a load screen, or something. So, why didn't you guys just look it up online? You know, ask on a forum, like this one? You know, ask on a forum, like this one? 1) Didn't care enough pt I - the "Dragonborn" aspect doesn't really interest me very much. 2) Didn't care enough pt II - I didn't have any words unlocked that seemed anywhere near as interesting or useful as Unrelenting Force and Whirlwind Sprint. 3) After the stages of bewilderment I ended up convinced that all the piddly dragons didn't "count" and only named ones would - and bearing in mind point 1, I hadn't advanced the main quest beyond the first dragon battle and visit to the greybeards, so I had only met one named dragon, and I got a shout unlocked when I killed him. 4) Don't generally like asking questions unless I'm utterly stumped. 5) Don't like looking stuff like this up online either unless totally stumped, because of the likelihood of the answer either being a spoiler or on a page loaded with spoilers. 6) I'm a numpty (see quoted post). :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
