luvadea
Hi all,I created a custom bard and a custom tavern, added one Ai package to sandbox from 9am till 6pm and then play from 6-10pm then sleep for the rest of the time but...All she does is just standing in place and playing all day-no sandboxing,no sleep.Sandbox package is at the top of the list. What did I miss??As if the engine could not see the other packages? No conditions on them btw, just clean sandbox attached to the location. If I delete the bard play package - she is sandboxing OK.?Anyone?? greyday01
Are your packages in the right order? For the sandbox just use the default sandbox editor location with no scheduled time and place it at the bottom of your list so it will be used if not doing anything else.Is the play schedule set to 18:00 for 4 HRs?Followed by Sleep 22:00 for 8 HRsFollowed by the default sandbox? luvadea
Yes-that's what all the tutorials say.But wait for this, they stopped reacting for any package change completely.I deleted the bard play, and the sandbox, but she still performs as she was when they were there......No change in behaviour....Is this some CK bug?I start testing from a clean save when the mod wasn't there. So no problem here. It's an inn-an owner(package sleep and sandbox-works fine) and two workers -a food server and a bard-completely bonkers...they sandbox at night when their package clearly say SLEEP! Tasheni
Sometimes ck has problems to update if you are working with packages. I experienced it a lot of times. In most cases you will not find a solution. It's better to start from scratch. Delete your packages. Save your work. Shut down ck. Open ck and do the packages again. Save. Shut down ck. Make a new seq. I know, it's documented that seq is only necessary for dialogue inside a start enabled quest. But I experienced that not working packages start to work after making a new seq file. So try it. I hope, this will help.
agerweb
Have you assigned the NPC to sleep in a specific bed ((this is better than hoping they will find a bed) and if the bed is owned is the NPC in that faction? Also check the navmesh complete through out the cell. If an NPC has a problem with one package it can through all the other out.
luvadea
Hey,nooo..it's putting JobServerInn and JobBard in factions that prevents them from sleeping....The very moment I deleted those factions-off to bed they went.So much for my realistic Inn.They either sleep and act like human being or..Bethesda.I tried clearing packages like Tasheni suggested - nothing.Yes they own the beds, they are all of the same faction and their sleep package is pointing them to their beds with radius 0.Funny thing is the Inn owner (faction JobInnKeeper,Rent room etc.) sleeps like a stone. If I forget about the server and add idle lute play there will be no music anyway. Is there any bard in Skyrim that sleeps?Have you seen one?Or a food server? They all have their sleep packages assigned (like Lisette in Solitude) but they start playin if walk in to the tavern at 3am.The Inn looks very nice IMHO built with custom assets and I was hoping to upload it soon but now I kinda lost the will..Thanks guys anyway!
