I've been trying to fix this for 4 hours and now I just want to cry

SKSE keeps crashing as SOON as I click it.I currently have Skyrim special edition and i'm pretty sure all my mods have that version select if they have the option.I've un-installed and re-installed about 4 times and I just don't know what to try now to fix it.

Are you using SKSE -OR- SKSE64?

You should be using SKSE64 for Skyrim Special Edition

Your post is confusing, because you say you have Skyrim Special Edition, but you've posted in the Skyrim Forums instead.

Yeah it looks like you have a mix of mods for Special Edition and mods for Oldrim. For instance it looks like you are playing Oldrim but have the Unofficial Special Edition patch Edited November 17, 2018 by QuagaarWarrior

I'm having the exact same issue, however none of the mods I have are Oldrim and I'm using SKSE64. I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game, Vortex, my mods and SKSE, have just cleared the deployment.json hurdle and still it won't work.

Make sure your current version of SKSE64 matches the number for your Skyrim SE executable file. SkyrimSE.exe may have been updated with the latest Creation Club merchandise promotions and you need to make sure you have the latest script extender for it. After that, make sure that any mods which use SKSE64 are also current.
