cbeau
I've logged about 500 hours building settlements on my first playthrough, and I've come to accept that I'm unfortunatly not very good at it. I would like to switch over to Sim Settlements, and get rid of most of my settlement mods, save for a few. Planning to start a new save as well. I've noticed that some have uninstallers and some do not. I'm probably running around 30-40 settlement mods, so I can't say for sure which ones don't have uninstall methods available at the moment. Am I better off just deleting these mods and reinstalling FO4? Will I really need to reinstall FO4? Would I need to reinstall every mod I intend to keep? Am I overthinking this? Deleted58783396User
i could be wrong but i am pretty sure the uninstallers are only if you wanted to uninstall said mods in an active playthrough as such a complete reinstall is not nessarary if you are planning on starting a new game. but it is defintely wise to uninstall mods you are not planning on using on your new game, less mods = less chances of issues. a new game (as in new saved game) is definitely necessary if you plan on installing scripted mods, of which sim settlements is.
