Vortex not usable with 4k Monitor?

Some things I find not good:

1. The elements in the window cannot be moved (4k). So the registration fields for my account are only partial visible and cannot be used.

2. My PC has only a small c-drive, 250 GB SSD only. Therefore all the Games incl. Steam are installed on additional drives (about 5 TB all in all). I see that Vortex had installed a directory in <users> <my name> <AppData> using my small c-drive whereas there is enough free space elsewhere. Vortex should offer a symbolic link instead of littering the c-drive.

3. A Game, running well in NMM cannot be started because Vortex detects sophisticated mod-errors.

4. Today I removed Vortex completely from my PC, and i cleaned my c-drive. NMM and Wrye-Bash are working well furthermore.

5. I'll try to reinstall Vortex in March 2019.

Excuse my bad English it's not my native language.

2. Only the database is put on C:, everything else can be put elsewhere. The database is usually not larger than around 500-800 MB.

A 255 GB SSD should be enough for that purpose.

Note that it's not a good idea to limit the space of AppData too much, since about all Windows tool save their user dependent data at this locaton (and their global data to C:\Program Data) and you should ALWAYS reserve some breathing room for that. Only a small subset of tools, usually those who save a lot of data there (like Google Chrome) allow the user to alter that location.

3. Vortex reports the same conflicts as NMM just in a different way and with the option to resolve them anytime, while in NMM you have to resolve them when installing ("Overwrite files?") and you cannot alter that decision later on.

I recommend using the Support Pages to get familiar with the concepts of file conflicts and how to deal with them. Vortexes approach is much better and flexible than the one NMM used.
