The answer has to be no, at least not always... because I can select 800x600 (one of the preset resolution choices on bethini) and it displays on my FULL SCREEN. However, if I choose to manually type in a custom "resolution", which is also an option from bethini… suddenly the answer to my question is unfailingly YES, resolution IS the H and W !!! In other words, I can't get a full screen display with any lower resolution than my 1920x1080, unless I choose one of the PRESET choices (even if it switches to a 4/3 ratio, 800x600... it WILL give me full screen since it's a preset option... so if THAT'S possible, then why does it seem to be impossible to scale to full screen with, say, 1000x600, or 1100x700? etc... ??? been searching the web for couple hours... to no avail, losing my mind... help!
