Nightgazer
Hi. I recently lost my external harddrives that had all my mods downloaded on them. They were destroyed by rats. Damn rats! Anyway, I want to know if there's a way I can check to see what mods I've downloaded in the past. I don't remember which ones I've gotten. It would really be a help to me if there was some way I could check to see what ones I've downloaded before, so I can redownload them. Is there such a way to do so? If not, there should be. Shadohz
Go into your settings and check your download history. Upper right hand corner next to your avatar. Looks like a sprocket/gear. Click that. Go to Download History tab.

HadToRegister
Also, it's a good idea to click on the TRACK button, so even years later, you'll have a list of the mods you used or were interested in.I just recently installed Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas, and my Tracking List helped immensely when I was trying to remember the mods I used to use. Shadohz
Good idea. I typically just screenshot my modlist then archive them online or burn to disk. If a game is older than 5 years their respective mods aren't usually updated as much. Of course there are exceptions to the rule. Archiving also has the added benefit not getting deleted because someone decides to randomly yank the file(s) down or block access.

Yep.Or the modder has been banned etc. I back up all the mods I've downloaded because of that very reason, and it has saved me more times than I can count. Then rats destroyed my external harddrives. I lost EVERYTHING! Not just mods... but EVERYTHING! Stuff I had been saving the 90's. Fics, pics, movies, ebooks, etc.. Four 2TB external harddrives full of stuff. Gone. ... DAMN RATS! Here's some advice. If you go somewhere, like the hospital, for a few weeks make sure to seal your external harddrives in something. Don't just toss them in a box and say "Meh, they'll be fine.". You'll come back to find your box full of rat piss. Try to turn on those drives, they'll catch fire. Believe me, I know. I HATE THOSE DAMN RATS!
