gobravo Posted August 21, 2008 Share Posted August 21, 2008 I always whanted to make this mod, to build an office of the federal police when you take a contract from them. if there is a wanted man somewhere, and he hes a bounty on him, 10000$ dead or alive, so you go to the office of the federal police, take the contractand go hunting...Or you can join the police there and you have severl privilege as a agent aginst bandit or something. Many mods gives an enhanced role to the Fighters Guild, mainly the ones that deal with the Kvatch reconstruction. The OP idea is good, just doesn't need the creation of an Imperial centralized Police force, even less while the empire itself is at the verge of collapsing. Remember the own FG original quests get to the point of facing a rival faction mounted by the now unemployed mercenaries coming from the Morrowind fronts and Black Marsh. The creation of such Imperial force could be interpreted as treason by the Fighters guild and itself becoming the main "problem" to that police. Maybe leading to an intestinal confront with real war dimension. Edit: Anyway the Empire is satisfied with the FG performance and it costs a good deal less to the Treasure that creating and maintaining an Imperial Police. Now, to be in the original topic itself; what this implies is the proposed "jobs" are already function of the FG and such mod would be creating quests for it.
