Buson94
Hi, i just installed Vortex and now tried to import mods from SkyrimSE from NMM.I chose the mods to import and Vortex should import the mods now but it doesn't look like Vortex does anything (no CPU or HDD workload). When Vortex switched the step from "Setup" to "Import" i directly got this error message (also see attached picture):ENOENT: no such file or directory, open 'D:\Spiele\Nexus Mod Manager\SkyrimSE\categories\Categories.xml'The folder "categories" doesn't exist here.Vortex is installed here:C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\VortexVortex SkyrimSE mod directory is here:D:\Spiele\Elder Scrolls\SkyrimSE\modsVortex download directory is here:D:\Spiele\Vortex Mod Manager\downloadsNMM is installed here:C:\Program Files\Nexus Mod ManagerNMM SkyrimSE mod directory is here:D:\Spiele\SkyrimSE\ModsHERE is the "categories" folder where the Categories.xml is locatedWhat should i do now? Since it doesn't look like Vortex is doing anything, should i quit and restart it?
Pickysaurus
I would say put the categories XML in the folder Vortex is expecting and retry the process. I'd imagine it's just corruption/weirdness in the NMM setup throwing off the importer. Edit: On closer inspection, it looks like you manually moved you Mods folder for Skyrim SE. I've sent this to the devs to look at, however, if you want a "quick fix" you can do what I said above.
Pickysaurus
Update on this, the developers have now fixed the import process to look at custom Mods folder locations in NMM. So you can either wait for a future update which fixes that bug or move the XML folder to complete the import now. Thanks for the feedback
