Saint911
I'm looking to create a PC game that can possibly be ported to Xbox and PlayStation later after development. I have a rough model of what I'm looking to build and develop. I really want to create something both casual and competitive. I have an Idea of the direction I want to take the game, ultimately I need a team to help build and develop the game. I'm looking to build a game that is a first-person shooter (FPS) with three modes of gameplay. The first being a Battle Royal mode (Like Fortnite or PUBG) with our own clever twist of destructible environment. The second mode will be more tactical (Think Rainbow 6 Siege) again maintaining the destructible environment. Lastly, a mode in which you play a campaign revealing a complex story. The big key here is having a hand full of different characters that do different things, like special abilities. All of whom may be played in each game mode. Along with a level up mechanic for unlocking new characters through the game. Allowing for growth competitively and casually. A bit on the art direction; The setting is the current apocalypse. This fits the overall tone for the game. So imagine a world when you wake up, your car doesn't start because the battery is dead. Except everything is like that. No stock market, no electricity. Mankind has literally been thrown into the dark ages again due to an EMP detonating over the North American continent. As such martial law has been declared to maintain peace within the United States of America. Causing civilians to riot and loot with no regard for human life. Throughout the game, the player is subject to many morally grey choices which may change the singleplayer experience. Risks and Challenges: The larges risk is the failure to deliver. Along with many challenges along the way, like the initial startup and any crunch times throughout the development. My Part (what I'll be doing): I will be leading the game development by maintaining a consistent timetable. As well a helping creating a unified art direction. Among my other duties would be marketing and act to the betterment of the project as a whole. Even maintaining relations between art teams when needed. I will also be contributing by doing the grunt work like asset creation and animation rigging. I will also be actively recruiting new prospects to join our venture. My main goal is not only to create a wonderfully designed game but ultimately to make it profitable. I will also be working closely with the engine team to be able to gauge viability for porting the product to other consoles. I will also do my best to maintain our project's integrity by checking everything before it is brought into the game to make sure that everything has met all copyright requirements. I will also be giving the different art teams a team leader who can report on any concerns or progress made by their department. As well as the ability to have a weekly meeting to discuss a realistic timescale and the ability to speak with other departments leads when collaboration is required. itsazoefish
You still looking for people? - your discord link expired. It seems like a fun project. I'm getting into voice acting, but my real backgrounds are clothing/costume design and writing.
