how do i stop skse loading an uninstalled mod

hello, im having issues with skse loading a mod i uninstalled. i have tried to to delete data from the skse folder but it just reloads the same list whenever i open the game. if it was a minor mod i wouldnt mind but its the experience mod so now my game is stuck using the mods exp system and will not go back skyrim leveling system. any help is much apprieciated, thanks.

If you uninstalled it mid-game and are loading the savegame that you used it on, then it's baked into the save.

What mod was it?

And how exactly did you uninstall it?

it was uninstalled using nexus mod manager, i also downloaded vortex and the mod ( experience ) is not listed on either nmm or vortex. when i open the skse file the mod is still listed and runs when i open the game. i know that it bakes in so whenever i change a mod i start a new game. on the mod page it states you can disable/enable mid save and it will work.

Check your

 

Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\ folder and the

 

Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\ folder and remove the .dll and possibly txt and/or .ini file
