manash7777
Yesterday my Skyrim Special edition updated itself .Now I can't run the game with "SKSE" & would have to wait until they release a new version of skse . I can't wait , I wanna play right now . :( Where can i find all the old "Official Patch exes" ? so I can replace the current exe with previous one . HadToRegister
First this is the Skyrim Forum, not the Skyrim Special Edition forum Second, in preparation for the next update, Install the mod "Skyrimse.exe auto backup" and skse64 will automatically backup your current skyrimse.exe so you can restore it, and continue to play the game until skse and all the mods that use it are updated. Terminator5445
I believe if you go under the steam launcher, and set Skyrim to only update when you launch the game, you can avoid waiting for a new version of SKSE to come out. Because you lauch from SKSE instead of steam, the game will now never automatically update, whichmeans you can continue to use the current version of the game until SKSE is updated, at which time you can then update Skyrim. Really avoids the hassle of your mods breaking every time they do a patch.
