Hi dev team,

I know that it has been advised to report this issue in Github but honestly I do not want to open a new account on the top of dozens that I already have. This error is happening since I updated to the new version.

I do not know if somebody else is having the same problem but anyway, here are the screenshots so you can have a solid idea about the sequence Vortex is leading me thru. Please fix. Thanks so much.

Around 80% of Vortex users have updated to the newest version. I would assume we would be swimming in reports such as yours if this was connected to the latest update.

That being said, please let me know if your issue persists.

Thank u for letting me know about the statistics and it seem base on your reply that I am probably the only one with this issue.

Well, the fact is that before I updated it to the last version, Iâve never had that problem before, so, if it is related or not to the last update, that is unknown to me.

I do not have any anti-virus ( except Windows Defender ) and I have not downloaded any application in a very long time. Vortex login was working perfectly fine before, otherwise, do u think I would not had let u know if I had this issue before ?

My PC is a dedicated exclusively for gaming. I do not use it for anything else so I also have an apple PC exclusively for everything else, so I know that is not my Windows the cause of the problem.

I am replying from my iphone and when I return from work, I will try to login again and I will update this post. In the meantime, if u are so kind to give some hints, I would appreciate it.

Thanks so much, ð

@sopmac45. Hopefully this is just a passing glitch and you will be able to login successfully. Although this is small comfort to you, I updated and have had no login issues.

I wish I had a gaming computer like yours. It is awesome!

Thanks Augusta …. took me 2 years to save and build it up.

By the way and going back to the topic, problem solved and here is what I did.

First of all, it was a relief to know that not one was having this problem so I knew that probably I missed a single step in the new login process …. nevertheless, I do not know if I am right or wrong but I am going to explain myself.

When I clicked on the Login tab in Vortex, a new window popped out and there is a link for URL. Because I had my Nexus already in my favorites, then I did not pay attention to copy/paste that new link in my browser and probably ( I am guessing here ), that was the problem.

For some reason, after the new update, Vortex was not recognizing that, so I decided a few minutes ago to copy/paste that link in my browser ( Microsoft Edge ) and viola … problem solved. Now, I saved Nexus with a new name ( deleted the previous ) in my favorites with this new link.

Copying / pasting that link on my browser, solved the issue. Back in business and away to play !! :geek:

Your solution will certainly be helpful to others who may be having this problem. Firefox (latest version) is my browser.

I do not know about that because per BigBizkit ( community manager ), I was the only one with that issue but now that you brought that into the conversation, did you copy/paste that link into your browser or not ? I am wondering if that was the step I missed in the beginning.
