Can't install and run Script Extender SKSE

I tried dropping the files on vortex, doesn't work. I put them in the games folder, doesn't work. I put the skse loader in my target field, Doesn't work. Invalid extension everytime. I disabled all the mods besides the unofficial skyrim patch and tried all of this, still doesn't work. I need a savior

Make sure you install it to Vortex as a mod. It sounds like you're trying to add it to the "Extensions section"
