Howdy good fellas!

I've been a decent mod user for quite some years now and I'm planning to mod the hell out of Fallout New Vegas for a future playthough at a friend's house soon. My question is:

Could I setup all the mods in advance on a External HD to bring along with me at my friend's house, to be able to play on the computer he's gonna lend me for the weekend without having to install everything once I'm there and troubleshoot during hours? Is it possible at all to have it running quick and easy by moving the install folder from my EHD and paste it on the computer's HD?

Many thanks in advance!

What about just pulling your hard drive out , and plug it into your friends as a secondary drive ?

And it's best if your install location is outside your program files of course.

You would have to run the launcher to set your video settings first , and create a new .ini within their User/Documents/Mygames/Fallout NewVegas , On their drive though. Or might run strictly from your drive ???

IDK for sure ... but might be worth a shot ?

You can copy & paste your mods in a Backup Data Folder and copy it on External HDD and paste it in the Folder by your friends install dir.

This would be able, but his installation need to be clean.

A portable or reinstall is not an option, i have the "LEGAL usage registry keys" for Windows 10 from New Vegas for you.

You can copy your install dir on an external HDD and start the keys:

The Readme is named as Important, follow these instructions and play well.

[THIS IS NOT A CRACK OR ANYTHING IN THIS DIRECTION ONLY THE KEYS THERE ARE IN THE REGISTRY OF WINDOWS INSTALLED, YOU CAN FIND THEM ALSO WITH SEARCH IN GOOGLE!!!]
