If MB doesn't answer assume the negative as who has read all of it?

Huh?

Really?

I just want this thread to move on past it. You know its a damned if you do or don't type question. So if they have something to say in this thread then move on...they can assume by your silence you have no read it in total....and ask whatever or discuss something else. Kay?

I still have no clue what you're talking about.

Well I can only suspect that you didn't see the posting asking you...multiple times...if you have read the PPACA.

There are many of them.

I don't want anymore if you answer the questions or not.

So Lisnpuppy informed me that two users who had been on my ignorelist for months had been trolling me and trying to derail this thread. Aurielius and grannywils, please stop following me around. It's creepy.

No I did NOT inform you that you were being trolled. I INFORMED you of post that you were unable to read. Now every moderator in this place is tired of this section for reasons JUST like this. Don't put words in my mouth. I still have the PMs and would be happy to open them up to another mod.

Okay? Great. Here's where we were before the thread apparently got off-track:

Considering not even the Congresspeople read it, and you had the Speaker of the House at the time flat out telling us we'd find out what's in it AFTER it passed, I don't know what good it would have done if any one of us actually tried to read it.
This BS again? Everyone who voted for the PPACA read it, as did most who voted against or abstained. The bill had been up for debate for six months, and many of its provisions (especially the individual mandate) had been around for years.

So stop with the "stupid Congressperson" strawman. Also, just for the record, most people aspire to be even just slightly better than their pet strawmen. "I'm just as mininformed as the most misinformed person I could hypothetically imagine" is not a point you should want to make.

And this thread is now done.

You know I have supported this section for a long time and have supported it even more since I became a moderator. Most folks can pretty much let it sit and spin. I also have been for moderating of this section to be just like any section...and this is why. This is also why I strongly discourage straying off topic (or in this case turning a topic ino a singular concentration to the point of ignoring the purpose of a threat all together.) because inevitably it ends up being a few people with axes to grind with each other. Honestly right now I feel like wielding the ban hammer on all your heads.

I am going to take some away time of this but I may not be done here. I tire of the folks that single each other out...and there are many of you. Aurielus and Granny...shame on you. Granny you haven't been around in a while but I suggest any post you make stay on topic. Aurielius-I suggest the same. Don't start none and there won't be none. MB....I don't even know what to say to you at this point.
