wow thats quite an improvement. I assume your gonna stick with the new drivers even though Catalyst now loses it's stored application profiles every time the system is restarted....

I want to try em out, but don't like the fact that profiles arent being saved.

Yeah I'm gonna stick with them for now.

If I was currently playing more than one game that actually needed a separate profile, it would be a different story but I tend to play one thing to death then move on. Plus I got used to having to go into CCC to disable/re-enable crossfire every startup anyway, and to be fair I haven't tried running it without a specific saved profile yet either, might get away without one anyway.

Give 'em a go, you can always just reinstall or roll-back to the old version.

Sorry for my absence.

Apart from horrendous performance in general specifically with skyrim on my computer since release, this is the only driver set which has actually made it better and not worse. Please note however, my game has always been stable. Atleast since I updated to 1.6, I have had no crashes that were not my own fault (mods out of order). I will say to those experiencing flickering or artifacting on the pause screen, I have been having that since 11.11b. So I'm used to it.

I even downloaded a fix from the nexus which removes the transparent texture over the pause menu so it sort of bypasses the effect and the glitch.

Just an observation CCC says with these drivers installed I am on 12.3, but whatever, there beta drivers..

Still no Hud issues here. And the game does run fine for me without a saved custom profile (I was using default settings anyway, but they wouldn't apply properly without saving as a custom profile before).

Well worth getting these drivers.

google chrome cant find page www2.ati.com

pls help

I use Chrome and it worked fine for me, so not sure what to suggest other than, try using IE or Firefox for this download?
