There were a couple of issues that I had with the new UI, however the changed made over the initial 3 days rectified them quite nicely. Keep up the good work. :)

Whilst I don't like it quite as much as the old one, I don't really mind the new layout and I'll undoubtably get used to it.

One thing that would be nice though, is if we had Hot Files down the side and Latest Files in its current place. I get quite bored of looking at the current hotfiles, whereas I'd quite enjoy to have the lastest files with large pictures and a larger description at the top. Since the Hot Files are bound to recieve a lot of attention anyway it'd be nice to be able to concentrate more on newly uploaded stuff, so as not to miss out on anything.

In general everything looks far more organized, but some things are smaller and less "window shopper-friendly". And window shopping is probably my main activity on the site.

I like the possibility to now be able to see any new comments on my files, my images or the mods I'm tracking all at once and in one place.

Before the changes I was always going to my profile section, then the my comments section to see new posts to my files, then to my images and sorted them by last comment, not always leading to a useful result and always ending up with me checking my latest image myself just to see "no, nothing new here", and then going to each of the mods I'm tracking and checking their comments areas all by one to see if there's any new question popped up I could be of help with an answer or something.

...all in all it was quite a tedious job before.

Whereas now it is only looking at the one single tab in the new feeds feature. Just great!

I don't really care "where" you put it or how you design it in future. But please keep the feature itself, as it makes my job as mod author in supporting my and other people's mods soo much easier. Thank you!

The current state of affairs is a vast improvement on the initial changeover, certainly. It'll still take some getting used to, as any change does, but I rather suspect that it'll be better received now. With the horizontal Hot Files bar back at the top and my default tab set to Latest Files, this I can live with and probably learn to like eventually, which I definitely couldn't three days ago, when it appeared that your site friends' activity would be a paramount feature (which would have been a pity for me because despite having been here for over five years I never added any).

I still find some nitpicks with the layout - the Hot Files bar under the larger picture shows six files, but with a gap at the right-hand edge which is just too small for another file but looks messy, and some filenames run into three lines which means the third half-disappears at the bottom of the box, and so on, although if someone wants to tell me that's somehow down to my own settings I'll happily listen and learn! Still, I've regained a lot of faith this evening that things like that will be ironed out.

Thanks for listening. And I apologise if I've mucked up my spelling, that's the wine. The run-on sentences are habitual, though...

I still like it :P

Its nice to have all that stuff on the main page, its not hard to get around and see whats going on. Don't know if I like it as much as the old layout, but I like this updated version of the new one more than when it first was out. But I like the functionality of it all, its very nice.

Also the arrow keys on the hot files move in the opposite direction. Other than that seems like everything worked alright for me. Nice work :D

Edit: I like ColdSonata's idea of a show more button for the top files so we can see the top 200 and so on.

Great job Dark0ne!! I have a suggestion, on the top 100 list how about adding a more button to show the top 200 and so on much like Apple's app store? I think that would be a great way to find more mods! :D

I think I'm alone in feeling that the new layout is awkward; I hate the files being in a vertical column on one side of the screen rather than a horizontal one right in the middle.

It's your site to organize how you want and it's not anything that's going to make me abandon the place or pester anybody about; I just definitely preferred the file listings the way they were.
