Splunge
Hi all! I recently installed Vortex, successfully migrated my myriad of mods from NMM and am taking the time to update outdated mods. On trying to install the newer version of SkyUI I get a warning I'm running an old version of SKSE. I reinstalled from Steam but keep getting the error. Is there an older version preceding Steam I need to delete? Do I need to manually install? Can Vortex help? I appreciate any help
Jannifer
The simplest thing to do is to go to skse.silverlock.org and get the most recent version of SKSE. If you go straight to the source, then you know you always have the most recent version. There is an installer download that you may use if you don't want to install manually. Do NOT use Vortex to install SKSE. Use either the installer version from the Silverlock site or install manually. The latest version properly installed should clear up any issues you're having. :)
