Isnt this a spoiler?

How to cure it? I havnt been a vampire yet though, but when playing Telvanni and you get to build your stronghold they send you to a vampire-infested ruin, around the telescope inside the ruin you will find a book which explains how to cure it, (havnt tried it yet)

There are 3 diffrent vampire clans, http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/game/3365.html

this is more of a guide, but the locations are in it, dont read the rest of the text if you wish to have more fun by searching ingame yourself.

You can beat the game as a vampire, I haven't tried it but I don't believe there's some kind of "alternate ending" or whatever. It's a harder, back-route that you have to take and you miss alot of the information that the main quest provides you.

Google it, I don't have a link to the guide for taking the other path.

There's no alternate ending, but you DO have to take the more diffcult and far-reaching back path. This involves killing Vivec, which, to most characters, is immensely hard to accomplish. You also have to fetch several items from tough dungeons, and permanently sacrifice health points. Personally, I would just complete all the Vampire quests, get cured, and then take the regular Main Quest path.

How to cure it?

****SPOILER****

Go to Bal Ur and speak to the statue of Molag Bal. he instructs you to kill his daughter, Molag Grunda, and her atronach consort, in the Northern cave Dubdilla. Once this is done, you can return to the shrine for your cure.

I'm not sure that the 'back quest' is so difficult and it is certainly a lot shorter. You need a fair few healing spells but Vivec is definitely slayable. Then you need to go to all five 6th House citadels as opposed to three but if you can do one, you can do them all!

But I agree with cmac, do the vampire quests and get cured. Unless you have vampire mods running there's not a lot of point staying as a vampire any longer.

BTW please search for the many other threads on vampires. You may learn a lot.
