thanateros
I don't think I would even be playing morrowind if it weren't for some of the Mods that I have. Probably at the top of my list is Astaris' multitude of face changes. This completely reamps the game and actaully makes the npc's look strikingly good. Combat moves is another mod I couldn't live without; the changes are subtle but there, and the combat system is a little more interesting as a result. Anything officially released by Bethseda I have. (LaFemme, Firemoth). And I can't wait until Wizard's Island and MEMod are released, both look extremely promising and are sure to get me spending more time on my comp and less time passing my classes. cmac
There are some mods that I NEED for every game, such as my own Extra Artifacts, the Ring Texture Fix, all the official plugins, and Rhedd's Head (If it worked :halloween: ) I've been afraid to add any non-official mods since my first game, where all dialogue was somehow erased- I could not talk to anybody. Also, all spells stuck to me- even after it should have worn off or I took off the item. Howeverm I did have about 50 mods running, so I guess I asked for it. Even so, I'm pretty conservative in me selection.
Rune
I have a few that I couldn't live without. The face replacement packs, hair replacement packs, Adventurers, Gameplay-Dialogue enhancement, Balancing mods (Magic, Items, etc.), Landscape Remix, Assassins Armory, a few of Bethesda's, and Atmospheric sound effects. Without the balancers the game was too easy, and without the others the game was too ugly. ;) I vote MODS!
Malchik
It's fun to try a few out. The only two I use all the time are the Master Trainer fix and the master slave key. I am somewhat limited because I have to transfer them from my workplace to home on floppy disk. Some of the more interesting mods are too big. I can look at them on my workplace PC but it is soooo slow it is a pain to use it for more than getting a feel for the mod. Everyone likes the Rhett heads but I wish they didn't make every character look attractive. A bit of variety with aging etc would have suited me better but that's just a personal quibble. Shakkara
I think making your own mods is an essential part of the game.
SilvuruAgnost
I do belive that it is importent with some mods becouse it makes the game more exiting. Ps: when did it come banners with commercials here??
Slaiv
I play with a few mods right now- Cloak collection, Snakebitten's Firefly armour mod.... I wish I could do modding myself. I should try. I'm mostly interested in model-designing though, so I'll probably pick up Gmax or some other free 3d tool.
Xeniorn
Morrowind would not be the same game without mods. I play with 50-60 of them, some of them are really STUPID and USELESS, some even ruined the fun, like the one that removed sun damage from vampires... But the most of them are really great, like Wakim's game improvements, Giants, Giants-Dragons, Carnithus Armamentarium... Making your own mods is fun too, and it fells good when you post it and people like it. Of course, MEmod will be the best of all, followed by Re-Quest for Glory. Dijas
I play with some mods, maybe 15 or 20, but none of them is a cheating mod. Those are the only I dislike. Of course I love Astarsis new faces, mostly because it gives another game impression (although I agree with Malchik's opinion). I didn't like some combat mods - Blood and Gore was awful! - but still use Combat Enhancer.I have some officials that I consider interesting (e.g. Master Index). The last one I downloaded and started playing (non-official) was a quest mod and that's amazing - never thought it could be another big quest like Morrowind's Tribunal's and Bloodmoon's main quests - its name is "The Black Mill" and I'm loving it. Concluding: Mods are the main reason to say that Morrowind can never end!
