Backing Up Vortex Files For Computer Upgrade

Beginning tomorrow, I will be going through the process of installing a new cpu, mobo, and re-installing the operating system.

I would like to confirm what, if anything, I need to back up to make sure Vortex doesn't loose its mind when I click on the run Vortex icon after the upgrade. Vortex is currently installed on C drive with the mod downloads and mod staging folders installed on G drive which is the same drive SkyrimSE is installed on.

Would it be safe to simply back up the "Black Tree Gaming" folder on C drive, which is only 245mb, and drop it back onto the C drive under "Program Files" after the installation of the new system?

Advice would be most appreciated as I have over a month of configuring SkyrimSe mods and would sure hate to loose all of the work.

Thanks!

Much appreciated for the information. I think the only good part about this is Vortex and Skyrim are on a seperate drive from C:. It sounds like everything should work out okay if I make sure to save the Vortex folder from the roaming directory and replace it after the new system is up and running.

I have so much time invested in getting everything working smoothly/installed, over a month, if I were to loose everything and have to re-install everything from scratch, I am not sure I would..

Wouldn't it be nice if Vortex had a button called backup along with a button called restore

Fingers crossed!

Cheers!
