RobinHood2005
I have recently tried to install the Midhrastic ENB for FO3, only to encounter the error message: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000001d). Click OK to close the application." There is seemingly now way to get around this. I have tried compatibility settings, messing with the ENB .ini files, using both the Wrapper and Injector versions, everything. It all either crashes or simply doesn't work. Can someone help? This has been annoying me for while and it's becoming very tiresome.

RobinHood2005
Reinstall DirectX?I did. Well, I downloaded the DirectX.exe, installed it on my C: drive, didn't work. Reinstalled it, overwrote all of the files, still didn't work. I installed the older files and binaries for the ENB and now it simply CTDs on launch. EDIT: I honestly think that I've tried every single method in the book. Updating my DirectX, using different ENB Binaries, using different ENB presets, overwriting my d3d9.dll with the file in System32, deleting RendererInfo.txt, disabling the incompatible settings in the launcher, messing with the Windows application compatibility mode, using both the Wrapper and Injector Versions, etc. etc. etc. Nothing works. It all either refuses to work due to an error, CTDs when launching, simply does not affect the game's visuals at all, crashes when game is loaded, or some combination of what I have listed. HeyYou
Don't the ENB fellers come with their own version of d3d9.dll, or some such? That needs to go in the same directory as the exe file for the game.

M48A5
You have to download and install the d3d9.dll from the ENBSeries. Did you read all of the instructions on the mod pages? Including " For now, only install if you feel adventurous and know what you're doing."

AGreatWeight
I believe this issue is caused (or can be caused) by not having certain dependancies installed - in this case, Visual C ++ redistributables (sometimes your OS doesn't download/install them all by default, so you have to do it manually)I can't recall offhand exactly which version you'd need, but you can check to see which ones you already have by going into the control panel of Windows, and select Uninstall a program. From there, scroll down until you find entries that list Microsoft as the publisher. Here's a screengrab of all the ones I have (I'm on Windows 7 btw, and run Midhrastic ENB on Fallout3 with no issues)From the entries that will appear when you check on your machine, you can determine which ones you're missing, and just do a google search to download them from the Microsoft site. If so, I've seen it and installed it. No luck.
