theelderdnh Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 I will start by stating I am sorry if there is another post. I looked but only found ones from 2012. So what is the best Mod manager for FO3?? I only found FOMM & Nexus Vortex. Are there any others worth a mention?
DoctorSamanth Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 not really. NMM works fine but FOMM was better for FO3 in my opinion and I've heard Vortex works well with it.
M48A5 Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) was made to be used with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. NMM was made to be all things to all games and was discontinued. Vortex was made to be all things to all games and is still being revised. My choice for the FO3 and FNV, is and always will be the mod manager that was made to work with those games. FOMM.
blackrat99 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 There is also Mod Organizer. Some people like it and it does have some good features but only if you know what you're doing and it is quite complicated. I use FOMM and always will. It's easy to use and just works.
