cossayos
try verifying your files through steam, what you just said makes me think one of your BSA's may be corrupted IE bad download I did verify the files several times already. Nothing missing. What gives me pause is this at the end of the papyrus.log, right before the crash. VM is freezing...[01/06/2019 - 11:28:50AM] VM is frozen[01/06/2019 - 11:28:50AM] Saving game...[01/06/2019 - 11:28:50AM] VM is thawing... That - far as I understand it - points to me calling up some menu, causing the game to pause, which I didn't do. I simply moved my character and hit an invisible wall that made my game lock up and crash.
gromulos
VM "usually" stands for Virtual Memory Your Virtual Memory setting MAY be too small ( low )
cossayos
If I read that papyrus.log correctly, my game tries to call for a number of cc files and complains over them not being there. gromulos
that sounds like a bug you should report to Bethesda you're not the only one having this problem it seems and it all started after the last update
cossayos
During the last week, I tried to get to the bottom of my crash issues. It's always the same. My character runs into an invisible wall, the game freezes. Right before it crashes, for a millisecond, things start to move again, but I CTD. I don't know if the papyrus log says anything about the crash reasons, but these are always the last lines. Im even messaged to beth support. And what i've noticed - this ctd's began after one of CC update. I've already tried clean install, playing without any mods / modified ini / etc - crashes still persist each 5-10 minutes.
cossayos
Same here. Im even messaged to beth support. Let me guess, they never answered. Or pointed you to the one year old thread where they say, they're looking into the problem. Yeah, I uninstalled and reinstalled five times. Tried every trick in the book, from running totally vanilla to fiddling with the inis. Nothing worked. I'm pretty sure it's the last cc update. Funny thing is, the update before last, actually made my game more stable. The last one shot it down.
Antrix
Let me guess, they never answered. They're recommend me to do standard stuff like check memory, ssd for errors ect. But i've noticed new info: as i said before - ctd always appears in few minutes of gameplay after 1 sec freeze... but! If after freezeing i will stand still and don't move my character in any way (left/right/forward/backward) - ctd not happening (i still can move camera btw) and i can stand for a long time. And if i will try to move a little - instant ctd after one "step".
Antrix
Im sorry for doubleposting, but i really need to bump this topic, especially for cossayos! Its seems like i found a fix for my problem with CTD's - there was a problem between Weapons Debris option and my RTX 2080 Ti. Disabling Weapon Debris is fixed my problem. So if you are owner of RTX 2080 Ti - this method is your solution for your problem. I hope this "fix" will work for you.
