Retail (non-steam) with Steam Community

So I want to know if it's possible to, and how I can get Steam Community (shift-tab) in-game while launching through Nexus Mod Manager (and running FOSE, if it makes a difference). Or is there some way to make Steam search for specific processes and inject the Community into it, without launching through the program through Steam?

The only reason I have to ask is that the retail version doesn't have a Steam activation key.

This is the FALLOUT 3 forum, or so I thought. The retail version of FALLOUT 3 cannot be activated in Steam.

Check the forum you're in next time, buddy. (Sorry if that came off rude, but this is clearly the Fallout 3 forum.)

Alright, I just added "fose_loader.exe" as a non-Steam game in Steam, and it now has the Steam overlay (shift-tab). I don't really need NMM anyway since the only mod I'm running is DarnifiedUI. I cannot play Fallout3 without it :D
