Pickysaurus
Currently, you can either delete the file from each mod or resolve the conflicts. It is something that's been requested to have Vortex "ignore" certain conflicting files.
varkonasnorse
The conflicts seem to be relative and not resolute. Vortex actually tells you that though conflicts may exist, it doesn't necessarily mean the the mod or plugin won't work. For instance, I have six different Apachii hair files and Vortex indicates a conflict with all of them. But I need them for may game to play correctly. I dragged and linked them all together. That basically changed nothing as the conflict flags still appear and all the Apachii files are still on the conflict list. But my game runs like it's supposed to, so I don't think it's a major issue.
BigBizkit
A conflict essentially means that one or more mods are altering the same game files and Vortex wants you to decide which mod should win. If you don't address this, it might as well be decided randomly (which is not good). More info here: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Managing_File_Conflicts Sure, in many cases unresolved conflicts (speaking in general here, not just in Vortex) don't necessarily mean the end of the world, but there is literally no upside to not resolving them.
