AWKCR crashes

do you use NMM ?

if so go into your texture and mesh folders, and check both weapons and armor folders, look for 0kb symlink files, and delete them (this should then force the game to use vanilla textures/mesh files of these files). this will solve the CTD problem.

this is an issue that nexus mod manager has, sometimes it installs 0kb symlink files, which in this situation are either corrupted texture or mesh files (basically files that did not copy over fully), which will cause instant CTD when attempting to view the the weapon and or armor that uses the corrupted mesh/texture in a workbench (basically having said weapon or armor selected/highlighted).

however if it is crashing on everything (and their are no 0kb symlink files), then chances are you have installed another mod that installed an older version of Armorkeywords.esm, if that is the case then you will need to reinstall AWKCR and click on yes to all, when it asks to overwrite said file.
