You must log into Nexus first and you must be online because Vortex uses your Nexus login to identify you. On my laptop, Vortex takes almost 1.5 minutes to load. That's a long time if you are sitting there waiting. So make sure you are connected and be patient. Again, this is just my experience. Someone with a super whopper machine may have better results.
