  1. You know the biggest issue with that show is though? Half the world's population was gone for 5 years, and barely anyone really addressed it. Like Falcon and Winter Soilder did want to a little bit, but everything seemed to go back to right where it was prior to the blip.
  2. I'm still not convinced the West is about to fall.
  3. I have Vortex frozen at start up. It lauches first page, but nothing will actually click and cant' even scroll up or down. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.
  4. Well 4 and 76 are different beasts entirely. And assuming 76 does get private servers and mod support, it could open up some interesting possibilities. Though I'm sure fallout 4 will have support for years to come.
  5. Honestly a lot of the time its subjective anyway. A mod someone swears by I find myself uninstalling as it doesn't work for me.
  6. Funnily enough I play 4 more than any other Beth game right now. Though I didn't like NV's story, and I enjoy a good survival game so I'm interested.
  7. The biggest hurdle I actually see is pretty much every survival game I've seen is been smaller studios starting out as early access. Meaning they all start out smaller and buggier and get slightly betterish. the only other real attempt was Metal Gear Survive and i'm not actually counting that. So 76 is our first real attempt by a bigger company. The real question is can you attract the Ark, Rust, No Man's Sky players? the Fallout base is not multiplayer fans I get that, and any modding will be done on offline and private servers (which I think Beth should go full in on, they can rent them out, and people can play together how they see fit) So yeah, I'm hopeful for this for the most part and generally don't think Bethesda does anything to terribly. Granted it think this massive amount of cycism in modern gaming is its downfall. So my advice if this doesn't work for you, that's ok and Starfield is right around the corner.
  8. that's ok, I like both so I will probably buy it.
  9. Personally, I always thought Fallout 4 was fine gameplay wise. Story its ok, (and this is coming from someone who thought New Vegas's plot was lazy and dumb except for side quests) Personally I belive this is really for players of survival games. I've been saying though this is not Fallout 4.5 nor 5, its a survival game with the Fallout IP.
  10. Bah, there isn't anything wrong with Games as a service if done right, which I'll admit is rarely the case, maybe GTA V. Anyway, my take is they'll rent servers out let you mod it to your hearts content. They got Bethnet sure, but assuming they are using the same engine I doubt third party sites are going to be locked out. Anyway if this is your cup of tea, they got Starfield and ES6 right around the corner.
  11. I've seen a few online games with mods, not impossible with private servers, and Bethesda will make money renting them out.
  12. I will likely look into it. I'm seeing this as say ARK or something like that with the Fallout IP more than anything else.
  13. I don't see it toned down that much. I think at worst dialogue needed more than yes, no, maybe, sarcastic. But short of that, the Commonwealth is chock full of gritty tales, I do realize you gotta look for them more, and I haven't played Fallout 3 in a very long time but it seems the same.
