DerGrindelwutz
In case anyone is still trying to save their saves:I've found a solution that saved mine. SKSE 1.6.8 has a command line that cleans up orphaned scripts.---add console command ClearInvalidRegistrations to remove invalid OnUpdate() registrations This prevents orphaned OnUpdate() events and the resulting bloated/broken saves when removing certain mods. When applied to an already bloated save, it will stop growing further and instead shrink over time as the game processes all queued events. This may take hours depending on the amount of bloat. To execute automatically after each reload, add this to \Data\SKSE\skse.ini: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1--- I can now keep playing, although my save was still mostly playable at the time i used this fix (7 mb and growing, occasional stutters, 1 crash). now my save file size is falling wih each save i make.Hope this helps someone :)
jaime74
To execute automatically after each reload, add this to \Data\SKSE\skse.ini: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1---Thanks, Grindelwutz!I also read about this some days ago, but hadn't found the time to try it yet.I'll use your ini file suggestion and see what it does.If this should really be the solution after all, thousands of people will be happy! P.S.: BTW, the related discussion thread from the STEP project can be found here: http://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=256&pid=26204#pid26204
