Huge Jump In Save File Size

Recently my save file randomly jumped from 9mb to 119mb... I have no idea what's going on, but it's causing my game to freeze for ten seconds once every minute. If anyone can help I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

Attached is a screenshot of my saves. The two 9mb saves are the last normal ones that I have; it jumped after that. I've tried going back and reloading that, but it happened again after playing for a short time.

Your game file is corrupt. You can go to an uncorrupted save, which probably won't work or you can start a new game. There was a post about Sounds of Skyrim Mod causing this. as the Author has pulled the files, i can only presume the word I heard is true.

I hate reading this kind of thing. There is no road map when a modder puts out their works. Sometimes they are listed as Beta, but usually not. There are so many things that can cause any number of mods to crash on 1 system and work perfectly fine on another. I run about 160 mods with very little problems. It was very painful getting to where i am with my load order (another big and important part of DLC) , the mods and mod versions i presently run. Whats funny, strange is i could give you all my mods/load order and ini changes and it could still crash your system/game. So, its all about finding what works on your system and how you define your level of graphical happiness.

Sorry there is nothing more I can add to make it easier to fix. It sounds like you are going to need to do a complete uninstall/re-install :(

Now it won't even start up... I guess I'll try uninstalling all my mods. Anyone else have any possible fixes? I've read that this has something to do with a looping script after a mod is uninstalled or something, but I don't know anything about that or how to fix it... If I go back to the point before it started happening and leave that one mod uninstalled, should it be fixed? It would kill me to restart this file.

I'm having this same problem. Was trying out a bunch of mods and .ini tweaks and started seeing these freezes, just as you described, for 5-10 seconds every minute or so. It's made playing unbearable. I removed all mods and reset my .ini files, to no avail. New games are fine though. My save is about 43 MB, and I don't have any previous saves >:( Haven't seen any solutions yet either, so I'm thinking I may have to start over (for the third time, sigh) but I'm saving my last quicksave just in case there's any solution to this problem.

EDIT: Apparently this is caused by the Sounds of Skyrim mod. Check out this post: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/730926-you-need-to-uninstall-sounds-of-skyrim/ Still doesn't look like we can fix our saves though :(
