HarmoniusMorusAlba
So, I just re-installed Oblivion today. No mods, nothing. A few minutes into making a character, just moving around and making sure everything was working before I did start moding it, found this horrific gem. Is there any way to fix this? or is this normal for a base vanilla game? I modded the game at some point in the past, on the same computer and the mods are still saved in a folder completely separate from my actual game folders. But as I said, just re-installed this and even deleted the saved .ess files and re-configured my settings. Didn't fix this. Here are some other screenshots of my game folder in case you wondering if I had a file or something in my game folder. HadToRegister
Try using MWSnap, a screenshot program for windows, with it, you can draw a window around the area you want to screen shot. That way, you don't have to take a screenshot of your entire desktop

DrakeTheDragon
Yes, that's pretty much what Vanilla bodies always look like. Body mods don't advertise their "seamless" textures for no reason. But even with a body replacer and its seamless body texture, there'll still be some seam at the neckline left regardless. Only far later projects going for the normal vectors and the coloration layers inside the EGT files, too, were finally coming close to fixing it. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45855 ^ This page has an overview of the system and links to all components there are, for several body mods, head meshes and respective fitting clothing and armor replacements for the body of choice, as they "all" must match for the seam fixes to work. There doesn't seem to be anything for Vanilla bodies and their items though, only body mods and their's. Still, that's about as good as it possibly ever gets. I never paid attention because on Skyrim I never noticed the neck seems at all. But after upgrading my pc and new monitor and all that went back to Oblivion and was really surprised. Thought I had messed something up. Thanks for the help and information. Edited January 16, 2019 by Akemua
