When I look back on it now

I thought the super mutants at Black Mountain were as weak as the regular super mutants from Fallout 3.

Then one of them pulled out a minigun.

Things that would made me cringe now? Hmm...

I started(finishing it is just the punishment) the Van Graff quest. Never wanna do that again!

Killed all the Chairmen as well.

Joined the Brotherhood!

And there are others I'm sure, but that's all I can think now

I'm proud of never helping the NCR though!

I had this mod, Happy Tactical Squad, which I used to make the african-american Goodsprings Settler to follow me. I gave him some nice armor and we set off to have great adventures.

After trekking through REPCONN Test Site, Nipton, Boulder City, we finally decided to finish what we forgot to do in Primm. We first restored law then we decided to help the Powder Gangers, only to betray them later. When NCR attacked NCRCF, we defeated the Powder Gangers outside. Then we went to the administration building. There was a huge battle, several NCR troopers fell. So did Sergeant McGee. Goodsprings Settler made the courageous charge and killed Scrambler, blowing up his head. But he was immediately killed by plasma projectiles after that.

It was a victory for NCR. But not for me. I lost my only friend. Only save I had was a quicksave and an autosave (facepalm) and saving GS Settler was too late by now. So I jumped out of the window, having not heard about the resurrect command.

lik dis if u cry evritim :psyduck:

The part that made me cringe on my very first playthrough was trying to sneak through quarry junction to get to the great hkan encampment then getting totally owned by 4-5 deathclaws.

Second was trying to explore different places at level 2 then getting owned at the tribal village.

The next story happened when I've bought the game on its release day. It was for PlayStation 3 and prior to get the first (of a long series) of patches.

Anyway, I made the mistake of completing the Don't Make a Beggar of Me quest *before* the Oh My Papa quest. Therefore, when I needed Melissa's trust in order to prevent the Khans from allying with Caesar, I couldn't find her because I've already fulfilled the Beggar quest. Which meant that completing the quest through diplomacy was not longer do-able, so I didn't have much choice than to wait for Papa Khan to get in bed and kill him in his sleep, which wasn't a quite successful feat. It may have been a bit messy, but I didn't got caught by other Khans and I could get Regis to take over the faction.

Nowadays, that quest has been patched to have Melissa stay at her encampment whether you've fulfilled the Beggar quest or not. But, when I look back on it now, it wasn't one of my greatest feat. At least, buying the game on launch day has gotten me this sweet New Vegas promotional t-shirt featuring the NCR flag. 'Nuff said.

At the beginning of the game, seeing all the signs north of Goodsprings that say "DANGER!" and "KEEP OUT!" and thinking "Well, I'm Mister-Special-Courier-6, that obviously doesn't apply to ME."

Another one is seeing a cazador for the first time and thinking "Oooh, prettier bloat flies!".

I also accidentally killed Victor on my way to New Vegas (he came up behind me after a fierce battle, I was a little trigger-happy). I reloaded the game to save him, but now I wonder what would have happened at the entrance to the Lucky 38.

This time I killed him in GS just to see what happens. He apparently moves his personality to another Securitron, like Yes Man, because he was standing there waiting in Novac.
