AdenYeshua
Anybody else ever notice the sheer and ungodly amounts of food in Skyrim? Every home is filled to the brim, tables have full spread Taj Mahal levels of up to thousands of pounds of cheese, meat, and vegetables. This is exacerbated by mods that expand places. I'm an old school Elder Scrolls player, before Skyrim was described as bleak, winter-land, that is hard to survive in. Yet I have not seen or felt that the entire game, other that the quality of the structures seems a bit weathered, Skyrim itself seems to be the food capital of the world. Anybody else have a lore explanation why every home and business in Skyrim is absolutely filled with food?

AdenYeshua
They're Nords. They have a high metabolism. Very true... maybe. heh Still, there is going in for seconds on the cabbage rolls and eating a modern grocery stores worth. Not to mention the constant need for resupply. TheVampireDante
Well some weirdo who claims to talk like a dragon kept breaking in and trying to eat/take everything, so they started stocking up just in case they came back.

LeddBate
There's a survival mod (sorry, forget which one) that cuts out about 80% of the excess food on display.
