Hondur
Heya, so various things, mostly city buildings and rocks, flicker depending on what angle I view them in. Sometimes they're simply black, other times they have one color, and other times they seem right. I've turned off bloom (thinking that would be the solution), but that didn't work. I have not changed my game since last time it worked, though admittedly my game has become weird on its own (other issues, but I've found workarounds for them, and I don't think they're connected). What is the problem? Take a look at some examples different from each other (in the last one, suddenly the water reflects something red that doesn't exist???) https://imgur.com/a/8NGKovW Thank you in advance for your help! :)
Oblivionaddicted
Perhaps can you fix it through TES4LL or RAEVWD
mhahn123
The buildings turning black when viewed at certain angles can be caused by using Bloom Lighting. It can also be caused by having a bad VWD mesh installed. Meaning a distant mesh which still has collision data, BSX flags, or Parallax flags. Distant view meshes should not have any of these. One other cause, which I haven't heard mention of in years, is an issue with much older types of video cards. Unless you're playing on a dinosaur that one is unlikely. The colored blobs in the water reflections can also be caused by bad VWD meshes. Or it could be a by product of ini file tweaking. The settings that come to mind off the top of my head are fLightLOD1 and fLightLOD2. Setting either too high (above 4500 IIRC) can result in the visual anomalies you've described.
