autumnsky38
Hi everyone. I just finished doing the Stormcloak part of the game and realized that I'm crazy about Ralof--lol. I found a way to add an npc to the marriage faction and am hoping to marry him, but he's wearing his helmet and weapon now constantly. Does anyone know if it's possible to take items off of an npc i the console? Thanks so much,Tracy
Brandy1123
this does not always work, but you can try it Open up the consoleclick on the NPC you want to remove items from, then type; "inv" <---- no quotes Look for the item code you want removed in the list and then type; removeitem "code" 1 <---- no quotes, the number1 indicates how many you want to remove. if they have more then 1 enter that number I hope this helps

Bhanqwa
If you're really crazy about him, instead of typing removeitem "code" 1, you could type unequipall :whistling:

xlcr
@autumnsky38, once you've tired of undressing Ralof lol, suggest considering this mod that i've been running for a very long time with zero issues, it hides the helmets city guards and most Stormcloak soldiers are scripted to wear. You'd be surprised seeing the variety (and lack of) guard/soldier faces there are in certain Skyrim locations. No Guard Helmets by Erazai - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8430keep your guard up around ralof, autumsky, he may be a player lol, during the cart ride into Helgen during the opening cut-scene, Ralof mentions "being sweet on a girl" from there in the past. For anyone wondering, Ralof is the Stormcloak Nord you meet at the beginning of the game.http://www.skyrimwiki.com/images/thumb/6/62/Ralof.png/242px-Ralof.png Edited July 20, 2012 by xlcr
autumnsky38
Hi xlcr. Thanks so much for the info and the link to your mod. I am going to use that for sure because it always drives me crazy that there are so many men whose faces I can't see because of their helmets! :) btw---I had to LOL about Ralof being a player. I hate to tell him but I'm sweet on HIM now, so he might just have to forget about her. LOL Tracy
autumnsky38
PS Hate to stack my posts, but I just tried the console codes that make an NPC marriageable on Ralof, and unfortunately, they didn't work. He will say things like, "I'd heard you died!" or "Good to see you!" and that kind ot thing, but there aren't any actual dialog choices. :( I was wondering if anyone knows a way to get around this or if there might be a mod that I could try? Sounds silly, but I've got a huge crush on this guy and it would be fun to see him in one of my houses at the end of a long day. :) Thanks so much,Tracy
xlcr
@autumnsky38, not much for browsing Skyrim's playing field are we? lol. not sure how far along questwise you are other than mentioning 'finished doing the Stormcloak part of the game'; and, really don't want to go achy breakying your fragile heart; but.., your skyrim crush may have to remain an unrequited love. Ralof's character is somewhat unique and has a bunch of Stormclock quest related scripting and dialog triggers attached. He's also a member of a few unique 'factions' that may prevent him from functioning properly as a loving house husband that rubs your feet when you get home or loyal follower.(for example: CWDialogueSoldierFaction; CWSonsFactionNPC; Faction for not using casual idles; MQ101StormcloakDialogueFaction; Sons of Skyrim; Stormcloaks). Don't want to discourage you from trying however, there are probably mods that can brute force the game into making him marriage material. What console commands have you tried so far?You can read up on Ralof (possible spoilers) here:http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Rolofhttp://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Ralof Edited July 21, 2012 by xlcr
