stalkersoldiers
Ok i got an idea for a set of swords based off of seven elements using Gaelic names. Slight problem: I don't know how to do meshes/textures. Any one want to help me? please?! I'll upload them to photobucket for you to see..

Naminea
Not to sound mean... but those pictures arnt very good. If you tried harder someone might attempt it, there is much room for improvement. Instead of spead all of 5 mins for all of those, try playing with them for about 5 or 6 mins a peice. Again im not trying to be mean, just telling you my thoughts.

LoginToDownload
You might want to give them a go yourself. The models seem generally basic, and the only one that seems at all hard to UV Map is the Dagger of Anbhas. A great Custom Sword tutorial can be found here. If you were asking for opinions on them, though...1: Pretty basic, more or less practical looking, and sort of interesting. If I had a character with Blade, I would rather like to use it.2: The back tilt much be a bit much. Aside from the color, it doesn't really distinguish itself from a saber/scimitar.3: Very evil, but quite cool.4: Maybe the wings a bit smaller? Aside from that, I'd imagine it would make a pretty good two-handed weapon.5: I have no idea what to make of it...6: Impractical, much?7: It looks sort of like someone broke it. If it was straighter, I'd find it pretty cool depending on how the yellow is done. ...Though I agree with Naminea that the samples need more work. I'm currently working on a big project, though, am a newbie to modeling myself, school is starting up, and I don't like them that much. :P
jroin
Nami.., I don't want to be meen but...., Your designes haven't been to great either.., at least yours were more practical, though. Also No. 4 ain't that bad. Stalkersoldiers, if you practise symetry abit (draw a half sword and mirror it, hint hint) people might be more positive bout it, oké I know that a saber isn't symatrical but the one that you drew is way off ballanse, and also you fail to mantion anny detailed information like: are they one or two handed swords and what are they made of. Personally I like the dagger No. 3.., I could do a quick redraw by hand if you want.

stalkersoldiers
ok I took your suggestions and fixed up the swords. #6 was completly useless so i remade it using a desgin i saw somewhere before as a base. For #5 those were supose to be vines wraped around a claymore but i changed them to be cracks. Just so you know each sword is based off of an element. 1=fire, 2=water, 3=Darkness, 4=light(holy), 5=earth, 6=Wind(i had no idea how to do it), and 7=Thunder. here are all the updated ones ( some i did no change): http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/s...SevenCelts1.jpg http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/s...SevenCelts2.jpg http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/s...SevenCelts3.jpg http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/s...SevenCelts4.jpg http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/s...enCelts5new.jpg http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/s...SevenCelts6.jpg http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/s...SevenCelts7.jpg
