cardtable
I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my download speeds. I have very fast speeds from speedtest https://www.speedtest.net/result/8033012584 (70Mbps up and 75 down) From that you can see my ISP is Frontier and I'm from the Seattle, WA area. I am only getting ~200KB/s from Nexusmods. I have paid for premium, thought it was that, and now I'm frustrated that I just spent money to fix something and it wasn't the problem. I ran a ping and am getting dropped packets (so this is the actual issue) Pinging files.nexus-cdn.com [185.180.13.131] with 32 bytes of data:Request timed out.Request timed out.Request timed out.Reply from 185.180.13.131: bytes=32 time=29ms TTL=51 Ping statistics for 185.180.13.131: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 1, Lost = 3 (75% loss),Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 29ms, Maximum = 29ms, Average = 29ms ================== So what can I do with this? Nothing more frustrating than sitting down to enjoy some HD Skyrim and then realizing I have to wait an hour to download a mod, hah (Oh, and I tried downloading the tester you guys have from the pinned+locked thread, but it just throws a 404 error when I try and run its test.) My apologies if there's another speed thread that I missed somewhere...
Dark0ne
What do you get when you download one of the test files provided here: http://speedtest.nexus-cdn.com/ Also, have you tried downloading from every Premium file server? Do they all provide the same result?
