sothaspill
I apologize if this has already been answered in the forums, I searched and I didn't see anything that answered this. In a nutshell, I'm using great house dagoth and I want to replace all the ash vampires, including the eventual player model, with something else. I'm assuming all I need to do is replace the generic ash vampire info and it should take care of all that; I'm trying to use a plugin-less approach, if at all possible. I just want to use one mesh to replace all of them. My question is: How do I do this? I tried renaming the mesh I wanted to use to "AshVampire.nif" and put it in the appropriate folder, but that did nothing. I'm new to modding so I'm not sure what else this entails. I'm assuming there will be issues with texture and animation as well? If anyone could help, you will have my eternal gratitude!
Dragon32
Version of GHD I have downloaded doesn't include meshes, so it looks like it uses vanilla assets. Why not use this mod's GHD version? https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42832 Otherwise you could use that mod as an idea of which files to replace, maybe using this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43633
