Roninzeinzu
So looking for help, recently reinstalled skyrim se and modded it some. To find that my sounds are not playing. At first it was music, magic, combat, sheathing , and footsteps. I tried putting Skyrim - Sounds.bsa on C: Drive as some have suggested in other post , but only music seem to return. I do have SKSE64 installed, and I'm sure none of my mods sound affect sound. So at a loss to what to do . I dont remember this being a problem last time I played it way back when SE came out. LeddBate
You might need to re-install again. Make sure you eliminate ALL traces of your previous install. If you have your mods manually downloaded (which I recommend for archival purposes) -put them in a safe spot in another directory until you have completed re-installing Skyrim. Then point your preferred mod organizer at your mods and start re-installing them. Don't forget to use LOOT after the re-install. It's great at pointing out issues and conflicts. Load order is somewhat more iffy even with LOOT. You know the old rule: RTFM where all mods are concerned to find other issues.
