justinrpg
I have the GOG version of Oblivion GOTY Edition I have the latest version of the Oblivion Script Extender but it will not launch! I am UNABLE to use ANY mods that require it! I ALWAYS get the following error message when launching the scrip extender "clearing large-address-aware flag (flags offset = 0000011E checksum offset = 00000160)recorrecting exe checksum (00793BDD -> 0073A497)crc = E243684DYou have an unknown version of Oblivion. Please check http://obse.silverlock.org to make sure you're using the latest version of OBSE, then send an email to the contact addresses listed in obse_readme.txt if this version is not supported in the latest release. (CRC = E243684D) checksum not found" I checked the website and downloaded the one there but the problem persists!
Striker879
Did you try the version of OBSE that is made specifically for the GOG version? - Edit - We even host it here ... Oblivion Script Extender - OBSE ... Update Files section of the Files tab. Edited February 24, 2019 by Striker879

Striker879
Note that you need to install the regular package for non-Steam (i.e. disk versions of the game) and then replace the obse_loader.exe that was installed with the disk version install with the obse_loader.exe from the GOG version download.
