silebyjester Posted July 30, 2012 Share Posted July 30, 2012 Hi i was told to put mods into steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/mod.esp I installed steam but i cannot see anything like this in the steam folder let alone anything to do with Skyrim. Error404NotFound Posted July 30, 2012 Share Posted July 30, 2012 before you can put some mods into the game folder, you need to install the game.check your Steam Library. if "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is greyed out, rightclick on it and select install game.If the game isn't shown in the list, click on "Add a game" on the bottom of the window and enter your code (inside the gamebox is the code).Then let Steam install the game (takes a few hours to download all the files).And after the game is 100% installed, use the NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) to add mods. it's easier to use then to install mods manually.
