How to make Custom races work wit mods?

I don't know where I should post this so I posted it here if it is the wrong thread feel free to move it to the right thread.

 

Is there a way to make Custom races work with other mods (i.e. Fertility mod etc)? If there is a way can a total nobody that has no experience in making mods fix it?

its the only mod i know of that creates compatibility for custom races

 

it does it through the method of proxy, so basically the custom race(s) would use the vanilla race as a proxy, so that any progress that checks the player character race, would work, as the game will treat the custom player character race as a vanilla race when necessary. i would imagine this would also work with mods that does the same type of method. (checking the player character(s) race)

 

so essentially grabbing the mod i linked, should allow said mods to work on your custom race.
