AusGill
I had planned on making a super evil girl for my first character and there are so many awesome outfits out there but in them all they say they require body type 3. Judging from this one http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/13021 - it looks like it is a mod that's needed before the outfits but I can't seem to find it. What do I do? prensa
AusGill - Hello! The Type 3 body is a nude body replacer by dimon99, it basically removes the spot welded underwear from vanilla bodies & provides a more appealing/feminine body. There are also a lot of clothes made for it. It can be found here: DIMONIZED TYPE3 female body by dimon99 http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/4280 I put together a step by step guide for installing it with FOMM (simillar method for NMM) that can be found here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showtopic=369068 The particular outfit you have linked to is by BEWARE OF GIRL/BlackBlossom, though it will work with the original Type 3 body, she has her own version that you may be interested in too: BEWARE OF GIRL Type 3 HiRez HiDetailed Replacer by BlackBlossom http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/34702 There's also a great male equivalent here: Breezes FO3 Males by Breeze58200 http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/4719 Hope this helps! The base files are working fine (I can be nakey :D) but I don't know how to or where to put the files for clothing (like the one above) Any tips please? And thanks for all the help
M48A5
If you were to read the description page under "Install:" you will find installation instructions. "Unpack everything to your Fallout3\Data\ directory"
AusGill
I did read the description and did put the folder there and it won't work.. Are all mods going to be this difficult? I was using Nexus mod manager for New vegas and it's so easy. This is a lot more confusing. While I'm asking questions, anyone have a link to a necklace or choker to cover up that neck? Sorry last question, still new to all this. How do you add things to the game via script? Many say you need to find your mod index number or something like that, been goggling it and can't find out how. Ugh. Balrahn
You have the mod enabled? And are you sure you've installed the meshes, textures and plugin in the correct directory? When it comes to manually installing mods you have to make sure you install it in the games directory (e.g. My Computer/Program Files x86/Fallout 3/Data). It's very simple really. Just copy them onto the directory and overwrite when it asks. The Game itself does not provide meshes nor texture folders because it's all packed in the BSA file (Bethesda File Archive). As for the 2nd question... There is this mod by exeter (http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16230) to cover up the neck sealer between the neck and body. If that's not ur type there are plenty of outfits out there that provide necklaces. That's the only one I know that actually covers up that portion between both. Just go to FO3 Nexus go to the Files tab above and drop down to categories and click it. It will list all mods in the proper category the modder classified them in and click on clothing or armor and search away. Edited: Ignore the first paragraph.,. I see what's happened here. I haven't used this outfit and retexture in a long time so now I see what's the problem you are having. The Beware Of Girl - Black Leather Dress is a texture replacer of the Brown Leather Dress for Type 3 by Kendo 2. It's said in the description. Basically you need the Brown Leather Dress and replace the textures with the link you provided of the Black Leather Dress to make it look like that. Unfortunately, the Brown Leather Dress mod looks like it's been taken down. You can find the link to the forum here (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/115933-brown-leather-for-type-3/). You can PM Kendo 2 see if he's willing to rehost it or try to google and browse around see if you can find it on another site.
