Jannifer
Looking over that lengthy load order, I'd say part of the problem is that you simply have too many mods. There is nothing in any mod which will delete files on your computer. They are restricted by the scripting system used in the game. If your DLC are disappearing, then there's something more serious than a mod problem going on. Also, you do not need to reinstall the game, just use the Verify Game Cache feature on Steam. That utility won't touch your mods, but will repair any game files that have gotten corrupted. After you've verified the game files, you'll have to start the game once through Steam to generate a fresh Skyrim.ini. The rest of this is basic Mod Troubleshooting 101. 1. Start a new game. Disable (not uninstall, just uncheck) all your mods except the ones you use for character creation. Create your character and go to Riverwood. 2. Begin re-enabling your mods 3-5 at a time starting with the ones that you can't live without. Test the game with your new character after each set of mods. Run around, fight some stuff, fast travel, whatever. 3. If all is good now, make a new save then re-enable the next set of 3-5 mods. Repeat the testing process. 4. Repeat Step 3 until you start to have problems. When you have problems, disable the last group of mods and load the save from before you enabled them. At this point, you have some decisions to make. Hopefully, all your "must have" mods are up and running. Now you have to decide which of the remaining ones you really want to try to make work and which ones you can live without. Once you've decided on the ones you can live without, banish them from your computer. At this point, installing mods becomes more art than science. If you have not already, go back over the mods' various pages and really read the descriptions. Take notes. Many mod authors will warn you about possible conflicts or make suggestions about where a mod should be placed in your load order. They will often have helpful advice about troubleshooting if you are having specific issues. For any big mod, there's a wealth of information in the mod's description. There's more to modding than just installing mods and playing. It takes research and tweaking and experimenting and lots of reading. YouTube can be helpful also, just make sure that the video is reasonably recent. Some of the videos were uploaded when the game was just out and haven't been updated. A couple more pieces of advice, and I'll end this Great Wall of Text. LOOT is a good tool, but it's a place to start, not the be-all and end-all of load order management. Do not under any circumstances mess with your Skyim.ini file unless you know exactly what you're doing and why. Many people try to be helpful with, "I changed this and it worked for me." That's nice, but every computer and every mod loadout is different. What works for one person won't necessarily work for another. If a mod gives you specific directions about changing certain settings, then those are fine. Otherwise, leave the .ini file alone.
AngelPhoenix69
Hi, I have taken your advise and started to delete some mods. So far (not cursing myself) it seems to be running a bit better. I haven't gotten to Winterhelm yet though. If/when I crash again I am going to start deleting more mods. Thank you btw for helping me :)
