wfandrews
So RaceMenu adds a skse64.ini file to Data/SKSE? That is what I asked in my post, whether that file was added by a mod.
Deleted58783396User
yes, racemenu does add a SKSE64 Configuration file, which is the Skee64.ini file, however this is not the configuration file for Skse64 itself, its simply a configuration file for Racemenu. however the configuration for SKSE64.ini needs to be created by the user and must be placed in the SKSE folder itself, not its Plugin folder (where racemenu configuration is located)

I certainly could be wrong about that, I just have never heard that it is recommended for SSE.
Deleted58783396User
the SKSE64.ini file is only applicable for High Res Tint Masks mods (High Resolution War Paints/Scars as examples), which Skyrim SE does have. or if you port the ones from oldrim, which i have done for personal use. such as neithteam warpaints the other benefit would have been for memory management, but that is not applicable for Skyrim SE. <-- which is probably what you are referring to. so other in words for SKSE64.ini: Still Relevant for Skyrim SE: [Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048 Note: These Settings are still Relevant because Skyrim SE did not update Character Models/Face Textures (as far as i am aware). Not Relevant for Skyrim SE/ Now Redundant Settings: [Memory];DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ;ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 Note: These Settings are no longer Relevant, Because Skyrim SE has better Memory Management by Default. which also why The ENB Series does not include Memory Tweaks for Skyrim SE. and the reason why their is no ENBoost for Skyrim SE, because it is already far more Stable then Oldrim, Due to the Magic of Being 64bit and Dx11
