How would I change Odahviing's model?

I'd like to change Odahviing's model to a serpentine dragon and have very limited knowledge on using software related to modding.

Please could someone explain to me how I'd go about doing it?

Open Creation Kit: Double click on Skyrim.ESM and click on Set Active - now Click on plus sign next to Actors (located at the top of the record entries), and then click on Actor - Search for Odahviing (using the filter search, whilst Actor is Highlighted) - now double click on Odahviing in the Right Pane, it will be located under Editor ID (in the Right Pane Window), now on the Traits Tab, Change Skin to SkinDLC2DragonBlack (From the dropdown Box), and Far Away Model: SkinDLC2DragonBlackNaked (also From the dropdown Box)

 

now click on the Inventory Tab: Click on Default Outfit and Press Spacebar, do the Same for Sleep Outfit (so they are now set to NONE) <-- important as his model is based on his outfit, failing to do this will make him keep is model.

 

once done, Odahviing will now look Exactly like a Serpentine Dragon.

 

Now click on Save - Name Your ESP something. now go in to your mod manager of choice, and enable your ESP.

Note: Filter Search is literally just called Filter, so by filter search, i literally mean the the text input box next to the word filter.

Thanks for the help and sorry for the late reply. Just to add to it, I found I had to also load the relevant DLC to make sure that the creation kit could find the skin.

 

Started a new save so could be a while before I encounter him but will reply if it hasn't worked.
